About the C.O.C.

Jasper County, located in the Piedmont Region of Georgia, was formed in 1807 from Baldwin County which was originally Randolph County. The County seat, Monticello, is about 60 miles southeast of Atlanta and 35 miles north of Macon. Jasper is bordered by Newton, Morgan, Putnam, Jones, Monroe and Butts counties.
